I’ve never liked the culture of sports, for a wide variety of reasons. But this is probably one of the worst things I’ve ever known about in relation to sports, completely horrific.

Although, the first thing I thought of when seeing this, is when the World Cup was in Paris. It was awful because while I’d already come to believe the English were the worst behaving tourists I’d ever seen, they were so mindlessly violent during the games it was astounding! Every night for weeks on end there would be yelling from obviously beyond-drunk Englishmen in the wee hours of the morning, who would bang on shit and they regularly picked fights with people in bars too. They actually put four police officers in the ICU one night. This is to say that the increase in domestic violence in the UK during the World Cup, doesn’t surprise me. That’s not to say I think men in other countries are immune either, just sharing my experience relative to this particular article.
